Gmail for Blackberry

Set up Bryant University Gmail on your Blackberry Smartphone
 

Adjust G-Mail Settings

 

Login to: http://gmail.bryant.edu/

  • Click – the blue settings symbol (Located in the top right corner of the screen)

A drop down box will appear

  • Click – Mail Settings
  
Enable IMAP Access

 

On the settings page

  • Click – Forwarding and POP/IMAP

Under IMAP Access:

  • Click – Enable IMAP
  • Click – Save Changes
  

Create a New Account On Your Phone

 

Be sure to delete any previous Bryant email accounts you had set up on your phone as they will no longer be receiving any mail.

 

Note: Depending on your Blackberry model and OS version, the steps below may vary slightly.

 

  • On your BlackBerry, navigate to your home screen.
  • Select the icon that lets you set up email (this can be called Setup, Setup Wizard, Email Setup, BlackBerry Set-up, E-mail settings, or Personal Email Set-up).
  

Enter Account Settings

 

On the Gmail account information page:

  • Choose to add an existing email account.  Then select Google from the list of providers, and click Next.
  • Enter your full Bryant email address and email password, and click Next.
  • You should receive a confirmation message and a new mailbox icon should appear on your Home screen, labeled with your Bryant mail address.
